Shower and a Shout Out

Morning!!! Hope you're all having a happy Tuesday!!! Last night, I went to a baby shower for a friend I've known 30 years. She just had a baby boy on Friday!!! When I made her gift, we didn't know the sex of the baby but it turns out that she used these very colors for her nusery! It was a lot of fun catching up with ladies I haven't seen in a very long time! Here are the photos of her gift from me...

Yep another gift bag! I love the soft colors of this one and Carla loved it! Inside is a green polka dot swaddling blanket, an ivory teddy bear (oh sooo soft) with brown trimmings and a teething toy that pops in the freezer. Baby things are just so stinkin' cute!

A close up of the bow. I used new and vintage ribbon, the tag was made with Stampin' Up stamps and cardstock. Oh dear, I can see my reflection in the handle of the door!

I wanted to welcome all my new blog friends!!! It is so much fun meeting new ladies! I am really excited about new friends following my blog! Big hugs to all my blog friend new and old...you ladies make me smile every day!
Have a wonderful day!!!
Kim

Baby thingies are great for decorating too. The perfect colors sometimes. Your gift bag is a gift into itself.

What a nice idea! We have four expentant mother's at my school. One just had here baby on Friday (about a month early!). My niece is also having a baby this summer and my daughter's LONG TIME friend is having one in a couple of weeks. There's something in the water!!

I love the bag. The yo-yos are so nice on it. That's a great idea to stock up and make extra bags.

You are a good friend to do this!

take care,
Dawn

Hi Kim!!
YOU have been so busy! I LOVE that Yo-Yo tote you made and filled with great baby gifts! I'm glad you enjoyed your visit with your friends at the shower!
I also enjoyed seeing the great Valentine cards you are making--isn't Target just amazing! Those basic cards, then embellished are wonderful!
We have been freezing here in MO. Actually, the KC area dodged a pretty bad ice storm, so I shouldn't complain!
Take care and stay warm! Dana

Hi Kim!

Thanks for stopping by! I'm so excited about this new pain dr. For the 1st time in a year my legs don't hurt!! I'm amazed! If you would like details about what they are doing for me please contact me at my email momsidner@yahoo.com . I have been through pain for years but this past year the pain was agonizing and unbearable. I wanted to curl up in a ball and not move. I'd be so glad to tell you about my treatment. I'm so amazed. And I KNOW how you feel Kim!!

Big hugs, Sherry
