9) What's your next 1 month's plan? Finishing organizing the stamp/craft room and potty training the puppy!!!

11) Did you attend any school reunion after you graduated till now? Once and only once...not fun!!!
12) Have you ever passed gas in public and pretended you didn't smell anything? Ummmm...yes.....ssshhhh!
13) Are you a clean freak? Sometimes but I have a lot of clutter : (

15) Are you a vegetarian? No, I love meat!

18) Do you secretly wear comfortable granny panties when your man is not around? I mix it up, depends on my body image at the moment...lol!
19) What is your ultimate dream job? NICU nurse or Life flight nurse
20) What is it your hubby does that annoys you the most? His impatience with other drivers.
21) What is your dream car? Probably something from the 40's or 50's, maybe a turquoise pickup truck.
22) Do you easily wake up in the morning? I do not like mornings one bit!
23) Do you like hairy men? NOPE
24) How about goateed men? It depends, just not on my hubby
25) Which one would you prefer, 2 hour spa, 2 hour Thai Massage or 2 hour foot massage?

26) Have you ever wished you had a different name other than your real name? Nope
27) What is the most extreme sport you have ever done? Kick boxing but my heart valves didn't like it!
28) Do you prefer traveling in Europe or Asia? I would like to go to Europe, never been to either...I hate flying!
29) What is your favorite food? Olive Garden's soup, salad and breadsticks or Mexican

I Won and a Tag

Hello!!! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend! I never made it to the movies...this cold just keeps raging then fooling me by thinking it's going away only to reinvent itself and knock me on my butt again! LOL! I'm ok, I just spent a lot of time on the couch.

Look at what I won!!! Just in time for some Valentine's Day inspiration!! Jes of KadyHope had a giveaway and I won! Stop by her blog to see all her cute little cottages that she sells on her etsy! Way cool and way cute!!! Thank you so much JES!!!

I have been tagged by Karen of Ciderantiques to post 6 random things about myself. Now, I love to read these on everyone's blog but now I only hope to have some interesting things to tell you about me...hmmm...


1. I was born with some curls in my hair and then through age 22 I had poker straight hair. That is when I had Radioactive Iodine treatment for Grave's Disease. One of the side effects was thinning hair, when it started growing back it came back CURLY! It is really hard for me to blow it out straight now.

2. I just love Gone With the Wind!

3. I have only lived in Michigan until May 2007, now I spend most of my time in Michigan and a few weeks a year in our apartment in Chicago. Hubby works there now.

4. Up until 2007 I had only been on a plane twice (once in 5th grade and once when I was 29) now I fly at least 4 times a year. (I'm not a fan of flying!)

5. I dream of a house that stays clean...I think I'm too creative for that! They say the sign of a creative person is a not so perfect home! LOL! It's not that my house is horrible it just gets a bit cluttered from time to time! Like right now my crafts are taking over!

6. I am a procrastinator...and I don't like it!

I am suppose to tag others but I say "TAG YOU'RE IT!"

I've Been Tagged and Thank You

Morning!!!

Thank you all so much for your warm wishes and prayers! Every time I post that I'm not feeling well and you all start sending your prayers upward, I start feeling better right away! I am so thankful for all you!!! You are the bestest blogging friends ever!!! Like I said, I am starting to feel better already and I feel very blessed!

I've been tagged!!! Jeannette at Sincerely Yours and Miss Rhea at Miss Rhea's Sweet N Shabby Roses tagged me with Seven Random Things About Me. This is going to be hard I think... I will see what I come up with here.

1. I have a soft spot for animals, especially cats!

2. I have lived in Michigan my whole life but will be moving to Chicago full-time in the next couple of years. My hubby is there during the week now and I go back and forth from time to time.

3. I have had fibromyalgia, thyroid disease and 2 leaky heart valves for about 25 years. The fibro and heart valves limit me some but I try to live as normal of life as possible. I am thankful because I know I could have much worse ailments.

4. I love babies! I was a nurse's aide before getting married and worked at a local hospital. I worked mostly in pediatrics and the nursery. I would often be called off other floors to take care of the sickest newborns...getting them ready to be life flighted to the Children's Hospital.

5. Math boggles my mind. I literally feel dizzy and overwhelmed by story problems and other complex math problems!

6. New technology boggles my mind too! I usually have someone set up my new phones and computers because it is just to crazy for me! LOL!

7. I have a real issue being around negative people. (I'm like Miss Rhea with this).

Morning!!! I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend! We sure did and I will do a post on it tomorrow. Today, I want to get caught up on some awards and a tag. I still have one tag left to do, sorry Dana, I need hubbies help on that one because I am terrible with song titles.

1. I like all my candy canes on the Christmas Tree to be hung in the same direction. My kids and hubby like to turn one around to tease me...it makes me crazy!

2. This one you know...I'm terrified of spiders.

3. I love John Deere tractors and would love to drive one in a farmers field.

4. I love watching the World News and GMA...I would love to meet Diane Sawyer and Charlie Gibson!

5. I am short and when I sit in a chair or sofa or when we are out to dinner, I like my feet touching the floor. I can't explain this one...haha

6. I love to read quilt and sewing blogs but I can't sew...I wish I could...I'm hopeless at it!

Tagged Twice!

Hello all! I've been tagged twice! The first one I was tagged by fitty's pink rose cottage. I am to answer the following 7 questions. So here goes...

~Where have you traveled? Canada, Oklahoma, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Washington D.C., North Carolin, Kentucky and Tennessee...I almost forgot... Florida and the Caribbean!
~Where would you like to live? I like my house here in Michigan but will eventually be moving to Illinois full-time.
~What is your decorating style? A bit of everything...I mix the old with the new. I will post a few pics soon.
~How many times have you been married? One time, almost 24 years.
~Favorite color: shades of pink, green, brown and white~
~What is your proudest accomplishment? 2 kids...one soon to be a meteorologist and one soon to be an elementary/middle school teacher
~What would we be absolutely shocked to learn about you? Hmmm...I guess that will go along with my second tag today...I really don't listen to music. I like it but when I'm alone in the car...I like to be quiet and have time to think.
