Who Me?

Yup you little puppy have worn this blogger completely out! I had forgotten how exhausting puppies could be!

Not me ; )
I hope to get back to crafting and blogging and maybe some thrifting (haven't seen much in the thrift stores as of late) soon! Hope you're all doing well!

Meet Emma

Morning!!! Meet my new puppy Emma. She is an English Bulldog and she's 9 weeks old. We found her in Chicago and we just love her! We decided it would be easier on us emotionally to find a puppy before our older dog, Cocoa, passes away. Cocoa is doing really well right now and she has made it past the 8 weeks they gave her to live. She is still acting like her old self and we are very grateful. She will be visiting the vet for her cancer check this weekend and Emma will be getting her puppy shots. They love each other!

It's hard being a puppy. Very tiring!

She's a happy girl and loves to give kisses!

We have been looking for a while now for the right puppy for us. We tried going to Petsmart when they bring puppies in but because we can't put up a fence, they won't let us have one. It's a shame when there are so many homeless puppies and dogs out there, but those are the rules. So, I started looking into different breeds and the English Bulldog fits our lifestyle to a tee! She's so sweet and has few accidents, knows her name, she knows how to "sit" on command and is already learning from Cocoa where the pooping zone is. She is doing pretty good at night. I learned quick that when she wakes up barking, take her out to poo. LOL!
If you don't see me around much or I don't make it to your blogs as frequently, I am puppy training but hope to be able to visit while she naps (that's what she's doing now). Ok, time for my shower! Have a great day!!! Hugs!

Thank You and a Magnet

Hello! Thank you all for your kind comments about my son. He was feeling really down yesterday. He felt bad for those who died and were injured. He knows they alerted everyone as soon as they knew there was a tornado but it was moving too fast (especially for those in the mobile home park). Praying for Oklahoma!

In my last post, I showed you my stamp/craft room. I have had quite a few comments about all of my many stamps...lol!!! I do have a huge collection thanks to being a Stampin' Up demonstrator for nearly 6 years. Luckily, I had a discount and about 1/2 of those stamps were free!

I would like to welcome all my new readers and new commentors! I'm so happy to meet you all! And a big thank you to all my readers!!! I'm so glad you are enjoying the giveaway prizes! Here is the latest addition...

A magnet clip in springy colors. The lucky winner's first initial will be stamped on white and placed into the center of the scallop. Hope you like it! The clip is from Target's Dollar Spot, sorry it was there last year. I have not seen these since : ( The heart shaped paper weights were from the Dollar Spot at Target too. They may still have those!

I hope you all have a great day!!! Hugs!!!

Blessed, The Love and The Makeover

Hello!!!

First off, I feel very blessed that my son is safe in Oklahoma and that he only saw the killer and destructive tornadoes on the radar at the television station where he interns as a meteorologist. I'm sooo sorry to all of you who actually experienced the tornadoes first hand. My thoughts and prayers are with you!!!

Now for the love part of my giveaway. Remember all comments from each day I post until Friday will be entered in the giveaway. Here's the love...

A sweet indulgence of mine as of late. YUM!!!

And a pretty little heart paperweight that I made this morning! A little love for my blogging friends! Good luck to you all!

Now for the makeover that has been a year in the doing because of lack of time. Hubby is only home for a day and a half a week soooo I decided on no new paint for now. I am a terrible painter and I have a hard time paying someone for something I know hubby can do. Maybe some day we will set aside vacation time to paint. For now, I am happy with the progress and will add decorative touches to distract from the lack of paint color!
2 shelves put together by hubby. I arranged my stamps by theme and have a few more there in the corner to go on one of the other shelves yet to be put together. These shelves are from Office Depot, a part of the Christopher Lowell Collection. They look really nice. Not pictured yet is a lateral file that is storing yarn in one drawer and gift bags and tissue in another.

This is the other side of the stamp/craft room. Everything has been shoved to this side. This side will be tackled in the next couple of weeks.

I am off to start working on the last 2 pieces to be added to the giveaway. I hope the one turns out or it won't make it into the giveaway. Have a wonderful day!!!
Hugs!
