Garden

Hello! Just a quick update! The giveaway is coming along, slowly! Emma just doesn't seem to understand that those things belong to Mom and wants to whisk them away!

My garden is coming along slowly, too! The crazy weather has slowed the process. I just came up from the garden and saw PUMPKIN blossom buds!!! Woohoo! Things are picking up the pace!

I will have new pics soon...and that giveaway will happen hopefully sooner rather than later! It WILL be worth the wait! PROMISE!!!

Flea Market Finds

Well, we finally had a nice day for the flea market! It didn't start out nice, it was cloudy, windy and chilly BUT the weathermen promised a nice day. So, off I went! I did pretty well this trip. I have 2 pictures up with more to come. I found 2 old school chairs to spray paint for a little "secret garden-ish" area in my front courtyard. They were only $1 each! SOLD to ME!!! I will take before and afters of those. Then I went on the hunt for a bubble gum machine for hubby's office. SCORE!!! I found a brand new King Carnival gumball machine for $15 and came home to check the original price $49!!! Not bad!!! That will be his Father's Day gift and since I found the machine so inexpensively I ordered him the antique-look pedestal stand for it. :-) I will post pics of those after Father's Day. When I found everything I had gone to find...I decided to look for things that I just plain old liked! Here they are....

Clip-on pearl-like earrings...50 cents (one has been repaired but that's ok they're just for crafting). Aren't they sweet?

I am excited to go back again! There were so many vendors and they had really nice stuff! In other news, the pumpkins are starting to really get going on growing. Amazing what some warm weather will do! Emma has been having pee accidents in her crate since her spaying. I hope that resolves itself soon!

Catching Up

Hello! Yep, I'm still around. I've been having blogger block or just plain old lack of motivation! Let me catch you up a bit...

This is Emma over Memorial Weekend. She got so pooped out up north, she slept most of the next day! Yesterday, she got spayed. She's doing really, really well. She's my happy go-lucky baby girl!

A shot of Cocoa and Emma. Cocoa is 5 1/2 months post-op and still here! She was only expected to be here until around February 2009! We are very happy to still have her with us, Emma is too!

Our garden has been planted! The plants are all starting to get going. Unfortunately, we had frost this morning! It's June 5th...seriously what's up with the frost??? BUT it appears all plants survived!
