Garden Fresh Picks!

Morning! Here is a picture of our first picking from our garden!!! Everything is sooo yummy! There is nothing like fresh fruits and vegetables out of the garden! (Except the farmers produce up the road...he has these same things plus the most wonderful sweet corn!) My tomato plants are so big and heavy with fruit that they are starting to topple over! DD and I were out there last night staking up their fences again.

My yo-yo project should be done this afternoon and then I will email the pictures to Donna at
DONNA'S-In The Attic, who is hosting the yo-yo challenge. After she posts the pictures, I will post them on my blog. I hope you will like it. I have a few more projects coming down the pipeline soon! More yo-yo's and some cards!

I should be treasure hunting again soon. I have been so busy here. I would like to go to the flea market but I'm not sure we will make it this weekend.

Hope you all are having a wonderful day!
Happy treasure hunting and hugs!
Kim

Good morning, Kim. I just wanted to say hello. Your first "crop" looks yummy. I have some tomatoes and cukes almost ready for picking. I got my stuff in late. I can't wait to see the yo-yo project. Have a wonderful day!

Hugs,
Kim

I love fresh vegetables in the summer. I had some sweet corn on the cob for supper last night. Have you ever tried watermelon on the grill...fantastic!

Morning Kim! I was just about to log off and saw you stopped by! Your garden is producing some very good looking veggies! I have a tomatoe plant (just one) and so far nothing turning red! Can't wait to see yo yo projects. That is one thing I haven't tried yet but I'll bet you'll inspire me to give it a try! I need to go mow lawn now so have a great day - Jeannette

Kim, thank you so much for your visits this past week when I was way to busy to respond. I loved your sweet comments and support of the most stressful time for me. Stressful but wonderful.

Now for your garden veggies. They are lovely and I could eat some right now. I am growing tomatoes for the first time ever and they are beautiful and tasty. I potted them and it is so easy. I can't wait to see more of your treasures. You are good at finding them thats for sure.

Love ya, Jeanne

Wow, I love gardening and would love to start a veg garden but I am so scared to do it. Afraid I can't handle the "taking care of pests thing". You are so blessed with a fruitful veg garden. Hugs.

Good for you, isn't it a great feeling to reap what you've sowed? I am going to plant my veggies in container gardens next year...wish I though to start earlier this year.
Hope all is well with you!

Ohhh wow that is a treasure full of yummies. Living here in the high desert we don't get to have gardens. I always love it when I find a fellow thrifter like myself. Love your yo yo's. will be back to visit.
