Promised pics...

Hello again! Here are the pics I promised you. Having caught up on all your blogs, I am having a bit of a phobia when it comes to posting pics. You all stage or arrange your treasures in such beautiful ways. I am trying but boy do I have a lot to live up to...lol! Hope you enjoy!
This cute little covered vanity box is Coalport and is about 2 1/4 inches across and 1 1/2 inches high. I picked it up at the Armada Flea Market (here in Michigan) 2 Sundays ago for $5...I just saw one up for auction for a starting bid of $14.99. So, I think I got a deal!

This treasure box I found at the Marshall's in Illinois. It was on clearance for only $7. I love it, it will hold a lot of treasures! The skeleton key I picked up at the Armada Flea Market for $1.50. (I added the green ribbon.) I love these keys...my great-grandma had one to open her door up until she died in 1981. They remind me of her.

I fell in love with this Avon talc tin at the Armada Flea Market. I love the flowers and the pink lid. It has just the right amount of shabby-ness to it. (only 75 cents)

I have been collecting these bud vases for a very long time. I haven't seen one in a while but picked this one up at the Armada Flea Market for a dollar. I don't know if it's and old one or a reproduction or what they call them but I love them.

One final pic of my skeleton key. It's so cute!

Tomorrow I will have pictures of our vegetable garden. Our plants are growing like crazy, especially the pumpkins. Have a wonderful day all! Happy treasure hunting and hugs!

My mom used to let me order "To a Wild Rose" from her Avon catalog - I can still smell it today. I loved seeing the talc can - wish I still had one!

Hi Kim. Thanks for stopping by to visit me in bloggerville. Hope you'll come back to visit again soon. I've been leisurely reading your last several posts and have enjoyed every last word and especially the pictures. Love your new "treasures"! There's nothing like a day of "junquing" to get your heart pumping, is there?

I love your bargain finds. You are definitely a girl after my own heart. I love flea markets, not the ones that bring in all the new junk, the real flea markets where people sell their own things. You go girl, those bargains are waiting for us to discover them. Smile!

Hi Kim! Thank you for your comments on my recent post! I hopped right on over to visit you. Treasure hunting is right up there with my favorite things to do--looks like you just snagged a few! In your prior post you talked about using a metal detector to search for goodies. My dad built several of them (from kits as I remember) and one of our favorite things to do when I was pretty young was to go out with him "metal detecting". If we were lucky, we'd find some coins. I don't recall if he ever found anything substantial, but it sure provided hours of good, healthy entertainmnet!

You've really found some great "treasures". I especially love that skeleton key. This week I plan on visiting one of the local thrift stores. I hope I'm as successful in my hunt for treasures as you were.

Hi Kim, Appreciate your comment on my blog, thank you! If I took time to "stage" all my photos, I wouldn't have any on my blog at all. So glad you don't either. Loved the "found" treasures, love the hunt too! I'm adding your terrific blog to my list of "reasons the paint dries on my brushes" right now. (I wanna be able to find my way back - often!) My bests, Devonia
