Photos of My Treasures and the Perfume Bottle!

Hello again!!! Here are the photos of today's and yesterday's treasure hunting expeditions! I went back for the perfume bottle and it wasn't there. So I kindly asked the same lady from yesterday about it. She told me not so kindly that she had no idea about it. Since she was putting things on the shelves from yesterday's bucket of non-priced things (which they were to price last night) I kindly asked if it was still in the bucket. She not so happily checked the bottom of the bucket and there it was still not marked :( ...so I kindly said ok thanks anyway. As I was walking away, she said hold on and went in the back and had it priced. :-D So of course I kindly said "thank you very much!" For some reason this perfume bottle just HAD to come home with me! I'm so glad she decided to get it priced.

Well, if I haven't bored you to death by now with my little rant...here are the pictures of my treasures! (Remember you can click on them to enlarge them!)

This pink shelf I found today while wandering around looking for the perfume bottle. I am not sure whether it will stay pink (I know I hear you gasping!). Our home is decorated in greens and browns and other neutrals so I'm guessing it will become ivory. The blue bird house is my now cherished perfume bottle from Avon! I love it!!! It had a rose smelling perfume inside. Then there is a milk glass sugar bowl which I will put buttons in (which I forgot to take a photo of along with the vintage trim I found...sorry!). There is also a milk glass compote...a smaller version of the one I gave away in my giveaway, a milk glass votive holder and 3 rose prints that will look great in my green bathroom. (Hubby doesn't mind a little girly touch here and there but he wouldn't care for more).

A closeup...oh how sweet!!!

I think this shelf is going in my stamp room with my vintage Avon treasures.

I had bought 2 of the larger compotes last time so this one will sit by the larger one. The votive will probably find it's way to the small bathroom with the rose pictures. I forgot to tell you...I got all of these treasures for $13!!!

Have a wonderful Friday!!! Thanks for coming by today!!!

Hugs!!

Kim

Afternoon Kim :)
Nice treasures :) One time at a thrift store I also found something that wasn't marked, oh my,It's like they are lost and don't know what to do:) I think painting the shelf cream is fine. While I LOVE pink, I find neutral shades go further in my decorating. I'll post Sat..I seem to be behind. Also really like the rose prints.I'm working on a mini make over project. I'm loving spray paint. Have a great weekend. I went to Michael's today, had a 40% off and 25% of entire order coupons. :)
Bought some stuff for fall cards. I'm thinking about doing a craft show in Oct. Have you ever done one? Okay, I'd better go :)
Warmly, Deb

What great deals! Love the milk glass and the rose prints. The pink shelf is really cute, too, and I have to admit I would hate to repaint it myself. That being said, it would look good all shabby chic in white or off-white.

Kim,
Wow! I love your treasures.. especially the milk glass. I'd probably paint the shelf too, I don't have pink in my home either. Avon perfume bottles are the best. I got a milk glass poodle perfume bottle for $1 at a yard sale and I just love it.

Have a great weekend,
Michelle

Hi Kim! Just stopped back to see if you got your perfume bottle! It is adorable and not at all what I was expecting! So different! I'm kickin myself I didn't pick up a few milkglass pieces last week at fleamarket. Love those too! Love it all and the price is perfect! Hope hubby made it home ok and you enjoy weekend together! I shut the button off accidently on my server and didn't even know we had one there so its almost midnight and I'm bloggin/waitin for my daughter to come home; out with friends - I hate this waiting/worrying game!!! Have a great weekend - visit you Monday! Jeannette

Hi Kim, That lady must of been eating lemons or something to be so rude. Anyway, so glad you got the bottle. It's charming. A blogger friend of mine sent me an Avon perfume bottle of clear glass that is a bird. I absolutely adore it. Have a great week. ~ Lynn
