A New Bloom

A new blooming flower from my sprinkled seeds at the creek!!

Morning!!! The rain appears to be on the way. So today, I will run a few errands before it starts then hunker down to some chores, yo-yo's and working on a Christmas gift. Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Hugs!
Kim

P.S. Thank you all so much for your birthday wishes for our son! We are really proud of him and love him a lot!

Good morning, Kim! Oh, the rain! I'm so thrilled because we are actully getting a good downpour this morning. I'm so glad you stopped by and approve of my new sofa. On with the show! So many things I still need for our living room - but all in time.
Be a sweetie,

Oh,,I sure wish we could get some rain. It either goes north or south of us but at least our temps have been so comfy lately. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Is that a mallow flower? That's what came to my mind. It's pretty anyway! We got some decent rain yesterday, kind of slow rain on and off all day. This time last year we were so desperate for rain here and it was so hot and dry right now. I'm very thankful this year is different. I love rainy days myself.

Hi Kim,
I was also at Joann's today to buy a couple of things and saw a package of yo-yo's already made. The colors were so-so. I also saw somewhere, I very cute Pin made out of yo-yo's. It looks like those little yo-yo's could go anywhere :). Also stopped at a garage sale & thrift store. Will try to post tonight with pics :)
Hugs, Deb :)

Looks like a mallow to me. They do drop seed and spread. Good luck. They are a self-seeding wildflower so they can take the heat and lack of water.
But everything likes a little rain. I know we've had more than our share but I am ready for a rain day. At least, it isn't unbearable hot----yet.

Those grandma's of your daughter's BF are wonderful---a pitcher and peaches. What surprises. Your son looks so dapper in front of the weather backdrop! A storm chaser! That's something my daughter always wanted to do---now she's studying to be a nurse. Go figure. We've had a few delightful days here in the KC,MO are--temps were in the 80s. It was hotter today and we also have rain coming, but not until tomorrow evening. Hope you yo-yoed all day long! dana

It's going to be so pretty in a few years when all that you have seeded is in its full bloom.

I hope you enjoyed your rainy day. I love rainy days.

What are you working on for Christmas? I've got a few knitting projects in the works. I always love getting new ideas :)

take care,
Dawn
