Happy Birthday!

Morning! Today is our son's 22nd birthday, it's hard to believe he's 22! Here he is a photo of him doing a video clip to include with his resumes. the picture is a bit distorted from him trying to make a photo from a moving video. He has 2 years left at the University of Oklahoma studying meteorology. This is the kid who was TERRIFIED of storms! He now CHASES them! YIKES!!! He knows he must call home when he is leaving to storm chase and to call during and when he safely returns. I would rather know he's out there than to get a call saying something bad happened and not know he was out there. Make sense?
Hope you all have a great Tuesday!!!
Hugs!
Kim

Happy Birthday to your son! I think that meteorolgy is fasinating. Last night we had very loud/close sounding thunder and lightening. A little too close for my comfort!

I hope your son enjoys his special day and keeps calling mom to let her know what's he up to and which storm he is chasing.

take care,
Dawn

Makes perfect sense to me Kim. Although my youngest (30) went sky diving a month or so ago and didn't tell me and I am glad I didn't find out until after the fact. And to top it off he showed me the video of it last time he was home and just as he jumped out of the plane he said "I love you Mom". Kim, I hope you will come back to my blog post for today. I accidentally hit the publish button before I had finished the post and you only got to see part of it. :) Lynn

Happy Birthday to your son! He is the same age as our oldest. How cool that he wants to be a meteorologist. Our Andrew also used to be terrified of storms, then decided to be a tv weather reporter, then decided to be a sports broadcaster! Still not sure what he will be "when he grows up"!

Happy Birthday to your son! He has chosen a fascinating career. My youngest dd thought briefly about going into meteorology, but changed her mind. Funny, she, too was/is terrified of storms but is fascinated with watching the Weather Channel. Good luck to him in college and afterwards! He's a handsome young man.

I think storm chasing is just the coolest thing. (Although I'm not sure I'd be wild about my son doing it, either!)
