Morning!!! I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend! We sure did and I will do a post on it tomorrow. Today, I want to get caught up on some awards and a tag. I still have one tag left to do, sorry
Dana, I need hubbies help on that one because I am terrible with song titles.
This award I received from Dawn at
Dawn's Daybreak, she offered it to her blogging friends. Thank you so much Dawn!!! I pass this award onto all my readers who leave me such nice comments and encouragement!
This award is from Rhonda at
Scooterblu's Whimsy, thank you Rhonda!! This award she was offering to her blogging friends. I would like to pass this on to all of you...thank you for your inspiration and your blogland friendship!
Here are the rules:
1. Link to the person who tagged you
2. Mention the rules on your blog.
3. List 6 unspectacular quirks.
4. Tag 6 bloggers by linking to them on your post and then commenting them to let them know that they are "it!"
Ok let's see...here are some of my quirks...
1. I like all my candy canes on the Christmas Tree to be hung in the same direction. My kids and hubby like to turn one around to tease me...it makes me crazy!
2. This one you know...I'm terrified of spiders.
3. I love John Deere tractors and would love to drive one in a farmers field.
4. I love watching the World News and GMA...I would love to meet Diane Sawyer and Charlie Gibson!
5. I am short and when I sit in a chair or sofa or when we are out to dinner, I like my feet touching the floor. I can't explain this one...haha
6. I love to read quilt and sewing blogs but I can't sew...I wish I could...I'm hopeless at it!
Anyone who would like to play along with this tag...You Are It!
I will be stopping by and visiting all of you in the next couple of days! I sure have missed you!!!
Have a great day!!! Hugs!
Kim

I have missed you too Kim, where ya been girl ??
How fun to receive those awards! I liked reading your quirks ~ the candy cane is a good one! My kids and DH always move things around on me to see if I notice.
Have a great day!

I'm laughing at (not at, but with) #5 because I'm super tall and LOVE it when my feet don't touch the ground when I sit on a couch or chair or whatever. lol

Hi Kim! I enjoyed this post! I am short too, I am only 5 ft tall!
Thank you for your encouraging post on my blog!!!
Love ya,
Amy
Hi Kim, I loved reading about you . . . the candy cane quirk makes me laugh. I can relate. My kids know I move all the decorations around after they have gone to bed (I guess we are not fooling anyone, LOL)

Hi Kim, What a fun post and congratulations on all you lovely awards. Thanks for visiting me and reminding me where I saw the pumpkins. I just love them.
Congrats on your awards! Fun bits of trivia:)
Congratulations on all your awards.....way to go !!!!
Hugs,
Mo :-)
Congrats on the awards!
I'm with you on the spiders bit - eek! And on the OCD - candy canes hung in the same direction and the shorty legs. Very interesting the things we find out during tags ;)
Happy day, Kim!

Oh, I think I am the same way with my candy canes!
Hi Kim!
Congrats on your awards, you deserve them! It was fun reading some things about you too. Yep, I like my candy canes in one direction too!! I'm sure glad I'm not alone.
Sounds like you had a busy holiday weekend. Did the Tigers win? My dad always listened to their games on the radio when I was a wee one.
Hugs, Sherry
Morning Kim! Lots to catch up on but wanted to say Hi. Congrats on all your awards. Hope you're feeling better now and look forward to chatting regularly again! Have a great day - Sincerely, Jeannette
Hi Kim,
Thanks for stopping by. My husband gets embarrassed whenever I do a MHR's post. He just read my blog and his face turned kind of red and he got a little teary.
Have a beautiful day.
hugs,
Barb
Congrats to you and thank you for your visit and well wishes. I am glad I am not alone with the dental phobea thing. I have changed dentists several times too. I want one to just knock me out and fix everything. I may start looking for one of those very soon.

Hi Kim. C'mon down to visit us on The Creek and you can drive hubby's John Deere tractor all over the place!
Blessings!
Liz
P.S. Also just read your post about the world's largest Salvation Army! Makes me wish I still had family in Michigan to use as an excuse! Can't wait to see what you find on your next trip there!
