Another Sneak Peek and the Chair

Morning!!! Ready for another sneak peek of my soon to be mailed swap box???? This time it's blue! No hiding the fact that those are blueberries!!!

I don't know why this picture appears to grainy. Hmmm...maybe from being cropped.
Here is the chair that use to be my great-grandmothers. It looks so nice in my foyer! Nanny would've been 110 this year and when I turned the chair over I found that it was stamped 110!!!!!!! How weird is that!?! It may look like an ordinary chair but it's special to me!

How should I dress her up??? Glad I'm going to the flea market on Sunday!
I am off to enjoy the warm weather, tomorrow a cold front blows on through from Canada. Saturday is only going to be 68 degrees! Someone forgot to flip Mother Nature's calendar to June. It has been unseasonably cool this whole spring/summer! Not good for the garden which is poking along!
Have a great day!!!
Hugs!
Kim

Hmmm I wonder what the blue giveaway will be? I did get your package and thank you so much. I'll be sharing on my blog later this week. You are so talented!

Last month was my great grandmother's birthday. She would have been 121. I remember spending my weekends with her when I was younger. I have things of hers at my house that I treasure.

We have had an unusually cool summer here as well! Someday the real summer will get here.

take care,
Dawn

Hi sweetie!

From what I can see..the strawberries look adorable. I love your Gramma's chair and I think a sweet little needlepoint pillow would look just perfect sitting on it. Such beautiful craftsmanship doesn't need much help. Have fun at the flea market...so jealous! I will be painting the family room while you are scouting out treasures...so not fair..lol!

Love ya! Angie

Hi again Kim! Guess I was wrong about the berry swap project!!!lol I love the simplicity of this chair and I see a pretty yo-yo pillow on it!!!! That is weird about the 110! I wish we were having your weather!!! 96 and humid yesterday! Way too hot for me! Have fun flea marketing! Sincerely, Jeannette

Hi Kim,

I have missed visiting you. That chair is perfect as is. What a wonderful treasure you have.

Right now 68 sounds GOOD. We should hit 115 again this weekend.
At times like this, I miss Michigan.

hugs,
Barb

I think you may have my cool weather...it's been so darn HOT here!

LOVE the chair...I think a simple pretty throw pillow will dress it up just fine. We have an old chair that belonged to James' Grandmother and I just love it!
