Hello

Sorry I haven't been around.
So much going on.
Apartment building being worked on,
no water during the day.
Our daughter is sick.
We get test results back on Monday.
We know for sure her bloodwork
came back with issues.
She has had a really bad year.

Hopefully, things will get better for our
family soon. It's all in God's hands!
Thank goodness we can give it all to Him!

Hugs!!!
Kim

(Have a great weekend!)

I am so sorry to hear your daughter is not feeling well. It has been quite a year for her. I know she got married and then she had that accident in the winter. I hope you all stay safe in the mid west, the weather is just crazy! I am watching the weather right now and it shows Chicago is having sever weather.
I will be thinking of you and your family.

Kim, it was so awesome to get your comment!!! I can't believe how we used to "visit" all the time when we both started blogging, but I think both of us have had big time life issues that keep us off the computer. Anyway.....I was thrilled to hear from you.

Your new townhome to be looks like a real jewel! I love the cabinetry and surfaces you've selected! We put granite in our kitchen and I love it. Your home has such a sensational view, too!

So thankful you guys missed the tornado in OK!! OMG...this has been such a miserable spring for bad weather. We spent a chunk of Wed. in the basement as funnel clouds formed above KC for a couple of hours. We were lucky there was no damage and no one hurt. Sadly, a town just E of us was hit...with 24 people hurt and lots of structural damage.

I am so sorry that your girl is sick. I'm sure you have results back by now. The auto immune issues are tough. Our daughter was diagnosed with Lupus a few years ago. It's a real battle for her.

Hi Kim *hugs*
I'm sorry you have so many things to think about right now that aren't the nicest. I hope your daughter gets better soon...that they get her all sorted out.. :o)
Yuck no water for a day thats not too pleasant and isn't it so that when you don't have something like water for example you REALLY need it!
I hope this weekend will be a great one for you.

I just checked my blog and it was nice to see a comment from you. I really want to get back into blogging, maybe the end of the month. I want to do a few changes to my blog. I just haven't got around to them yet. My computer skills are minimal at best. I was thinking about a fresh start maybe even a name change. My blog, not me, he he he. I hope your daughter is doing better! I also hope you find the time to make the happy couple a anniversary gift. I made a table cloth for my daughter,so I have had my sewing machine out recently. The weather is beautiful here and it has been for the past three or so weeks. I see that the mid west is in the middle of a heat wave and it is on the way here! I hope you are back to blogging soon!
It is always nice to hear from you! Stay cool!

That black cloud can not be a good thing! It is 93 here right now! It looks like it might reach 100. I won four tickets to a theater down by the beach (Atlantic Ocean). It is called "Theatre by the Sea" I hope they have AC or they won't be seeing me or my friends! The show is Hair Spray, it's one of my friends favorite movies and today is her birthday. I call that a "meant to be". I hope they have AC! Well, I hope you stay cool and sew up a few new creations! By the way you have a long list of blog favorites, one night I am going to sit down and go through them. We seem to like a lot of the same things, maybe I can find a few new favorites of my own!
