Bridal Shower Decor

Morning! Well, let's see if I get more comments today. I'm wondering if it isn't time to delete the blog. I'm certainly not one of the popular blogs out there...hmmm....I like blogging and visiting blogs, I don't always comment myself. Hmmm....on to happier things...

Here are some photos from the bridal shower...

My living room. The banner is hard to read because it is glossy and glittery...
it says...ADAM on the top and COURTNEY on the bottom.

A view from the eating area into the living room.
The pompoms were easy to make.

A shot of one of the centerpieces and the M&M jar.
The jar was the prize for the ice breaker game.

My daughter all dressed up by her bridesmaids.
A friend of hers made the big roses out of the
tissue paper from the gifts. She is using this for
her rehearsal bouquet and veil.

Hope you all have a great day!!!
Hugs!
Kim

You are too funny but I know what you mean-hehe.
Your daughter is precious and the shower looks like it was a big hit.

Emma has grown so much. What a doll.

Make sure you take time to enjoy every second of the wedding prep. Good memories to look back on when you are old and gray-hehe.

Huge hugs,
Barb

Kim, I just know you are enjoying every second of this! As exhausting as it may be, it is so special for a Mom and Daughter. You are so lucky. My only daughter eloped---to Hawaii! I have some lovely pictures of their day but no real memories--except for the 3 grandchildren. I have been there for both boys to be born. Mya was adopted so I have been there every chance I get since. Those are good memories.
As for the commenting/ blogging, in my humble opinion, blogging is a personal choice. For some, it is a popularity contest. For others, a personal journal. For me, a way to connect with family and friends and record some of my history. Someday, my 7 grandchildren can look at it and say, 'This is what Grandma was doing in 2010. I want to be like her.' Or maybe even, 'Yeah, the old broad was as nuts as they say!' My family rarely, if ever, comments. They send me emails if need be. Most of my friends rarely comment, but I know they visit. Very few blogs out there are getting many comments. I don't know if blogging is losing its appeal to the masses or if people are too busy to comment. I know by the site meter, they visit. Maybe they just find my posts boring if they can't find info they can use, a giveaway or a free pattern. Who knows? I just know I plan to keep on trucking because it is good for me. I get to express an opinion, share a thought or picture, release some anxiety, show some love........ I think you are showing us how much you love your daughter and someday, she will be so glad to have this all recorded! So, I say, keep on recording these events and happenings for the future of your family. It is as valuable as a scrapbook or photo album because you are attaching thoughts and feelings and written memories to it! Big hugs! ★ Linda ★

Your daughter is beautiful...just like her momma. The shower was fabulous. You are doing a stunning job.

Don't get frustrated by comments or lack of them. I think it's easy to use that as some sort of measure but it's really not. Keep on sharing your life with us. We all adore you.

Morning Kim! I hear ya!!!lol Love love those pom poms; I think I'd leave them up all the time!lol Courtney is ADORABLE! She must be getting really excited and I know you are getting really exhausted!lol My D is already changing plans so I haven't posted anything yet!lol Love the banner too and am thinking of trying one for everyday. Don't worry about the comments - I've noticed even the super popular ones are getting less comments (yes I notice those things - I think the follower thing ruined blogging for a lot of us - too much competition in everything now a days!lol) I'll e mail you soon - til then RELAX! Hugs - Jeannette
