Morning!
Sorry no photos today. I am at our apartment in Chicago with no access to my photos. I'm here since my husband had a kidney stone, poor guy! He fortunately got hit with it on Oct. 3 hours before he was to return here to Chicago for work. I ended up taking him to the ER and it was a 5.5mm stone. Once he was clear for travel we came back here (I couldn't send him back here alone just in case it moved again...OUCH!) and returned once for a follow-up appt. The x-ray showed no sign of a stone yesterday!! YAY! I had already planned to come back to Chicago so we packed up Emma and hit the road. Sooo...long story short...I am still alive and haven't forgotten you and my blog. Just been busy!
We do have a winner for the yo-yo hat...Sara from Sara's Art House!!! Congratulations Sara...you can email me your address at dkccv@comcast.net. Thank you to all who entered!!!
I have been busy making hats for kids with cancer...MckMama is the inspiration for this project! When my hats are done my hubby and I will be delivering them to our local Ronald McDonald House. If you feel inspired...you can join in the cause!
Hope you all have a wonderful day!!! Next post will have pictures!
Hugs!
Kim

Hi Kim,
OH, I know about Hubby's with kidney stones. Mine has had a few too and they are in misery when they have those. I am like you are about blogging. I guess I will keep it open and just post when I can too.
Have a nice day!
xoxo
Congrats to Sara!
So sorry about your hubby's kidney stones! My husband has had two bouts with them...and I've been diagnosed with bilateral kidney stones myself. Two are out of my kidney, so it's a waiting game for them to make their decent! As far as I'm concerned, they can take their own sweet time!
I am so excited !!! Thanks!
What a great thing you do by donating the hats :)
Sorry to hear about your dh. Hope he is feeling much better now!
Congrats to Sara-the hat is cute!
