Blue Hat Gone Green

Hello! So, today I needed to work on some more hats that I'm donating to the Ronald McDonald House for kids with cancer. I found some cute hats at the Target Dollar Spot but I didn't have any matching fabric on hand and I didn't really want to go to the fabric store (yeah, I know...GASPS!). That's when I remembered a skirt that no longer fits which has beautiful embroidery...take a look...

Pretty skirt...wish it still fit!

Pretty flower in just the right colors!

Another pretty flower.

Here's the hat...I ended up using the hem of the skirt for the top yo-yo and the lining for the bottom one.
Yo-yo close up!
So there you have it...a Blue Hat Gone Green! Total cost just over a $1.00!!! I love it!
Hope you're all having a great day!!!
Hugs!
Kim

How adorable! Isn't it funny how a little flower takes virtually anything up to the next level?
