Catching Up

Hello! Yep, I'm still around. I've been having blogger block or just plain old lack of motivation! Let me catch you up a bit...

This is Emma over Memorial Weekend. She got so pooped out up north, she slept most of the next day! Yesterday, she got spayed. She's doing really, really well. She's my happy go-lucky baby girl!

A shot of Cocoa and Emma. Cocoa is 5 1/2 months post-op and still here! She was only expected to be here until around February 2009! We are very happy to still have her with us, Emma is too!

Our garden has been planted! The plants are all starting to get going. Unfortunately, we had frost this morning! It's June 5th...seriously what's up with the frost??? BUT it appears all plants survived!

Some pretty alliums (I believe) from my mom's garden in Caseville, MI.

A very pretty view over Comerica Park. That was a pretty sunset!

A view of Downtown Detroit. I hope the economy improves for us all! GM is very important to our area!
I will take more photos this weekend so you can see how the garden has grown! I always hope to feel crafty soon! I'm in such a craft/blog funk! Does this happen to you???
Have a wonderful weekend!!!
Hugs! I've missed you!
Kim

Morning Kim! Emma just cracks me up! She is sooo adorable! Keep fighting Cocoa!!! See what your love did keeping Cocoa going!! Now you already know I get and still have blogger/craft "funk"!!!lol Pretty sunset. That guy I told you about worked for GM so I'm guessing he lived in the same area! I must ask next time I see him! Poor guy came all the way from MI for a job and now his car is about to die! I hope it gets better for all the employees out of work!!! Well have a fun weekend and I'll talk to you soon! (My washing machine is walking across basement floor - I hope it keeps going right out the door!!!lol) Jeannette

Emma is so adorable. You can just see that personality in the photos. I can't believe you had frost, that's just crazy.

Have a great weekend!

HI Kim,
Glad to see a new post...was wondering what you have been up to.
Emma probably is keeping Cocoa feeling better. I think that JB kept Scout around longer...
I hope your "crafting" block goes away..I just keep hoping from one project to another and not much gets done.
Have a Great weekend!
Warmly,
Deb :)

Lovely pictures and Emma is so loveable and Cocoa to. This is the time to start taking great pictures of the garden, soon everything is going to be full of colour. I think that is why we don't have time to blog we are in the garden, enjoying the outdoors. best wishes Julie.C

I've been taking a break too. Sometimes it is just so hard to find the time. Your photos of the dogs are sweet.

We've been pretty cold for June too. I like being at school and not sweating...so if it could hold off for two more weeks that would be great.

take care,
Dawn
