Yo-Yo Challenge

Good afternoon! Here is a challenge I've been working on hosted by DONNA'S-In The Attic, go check it out! This is my kind of sewing...all by hand!!! I am HOPELESS with a sewing machine! I have made 90 yo-yo's using the large yo-yo maker and now I will apply them to my project. I hope it looks good when I'm done! I will post a photo later...good or not so good! ;-)

Hope you are all having a great summery day! The weather is beautiful here! Hugs and happy treasure hunting!
Kim

  6. Hi Kim!
The yo-yos are beautiful. Gosh, until they end up in your final project they would look great piled up in a pretty basket somewhere. I love the colors. I can't wait to see what you do with them.

  8. pretty neat. I just ran across Donna's yo-yo post yesterday. Not sure that I can sit down & make 90 yo-yo's. But it definitely sounds like my kind of sewing. I have not learned to use the machine either. can't wait to see how your project turns out. xoxo, Joanna

  17. Hi Kim ~ I love the look of yo-yo's but I'm better with my sewing machine than I am by hand! LOL

Just wanted to drop by for a visit and thank you so much for the sweet, encouraging comments you left on my blog. I'm still pretty much in a fog after hearing the news, but God is so good and we're gonna get through this!

    Have a wonderful weekend!!!

  22. The yo-yo's are lovely! What is a yo-yo maker? I'm with you on the hand sewing. I love to sew by hand, but have a fear of the sewing machine, which I plan to overcome. I've bought a machine several months ago, but have yet to put thread in it!
